CHILD PROTECTION POLICY
Southland Multicultural Trust supports the Child Matters' protection policy that provides guidelines for organisations and their staff to create a safe environment for everyone.
Southland Multicultural Trust looks out at the best interest of every migrant child. Keeping children safe is our top priority. Our organisation ensure that these policies and practices are reflected in all our events and workshops.
Southland Multicultural Trust provides House Health and Safety procedures in all our events to protect and prevent children as well as everybody else. Guidelines are laid out to all volunteers, staff and members to create a safe environment and reduce the possible risk or harm to children.
Southland Multicultural Trust ensures that all volunteers working for the organisation are safe to work with children. All venues are likewise considered in every event to inhibit possible harmful scenarios.
